For a Good Cause...

I have decided to take about 10 of the images from my trip and produce a set of notecards to sell. All proceeds from the sale of the notecards purchased by June 1st, will go to the Good Hope Children Organization. Their mission is to provide food, clothing, healthcare, nurturing, and education for orphaned children in Africa. The online "sisterhood" of Phi Mu is raising money for Good Hope Children. We hope to raise enough so the orphanage can buy 1 acre of land in town for housing and 5 acres out of town for farming to feed themselves. The amount we need to raise is quite large. However, we are a strong core of women who can accomplish any task we put our hearts and minds to.

The note cards will have images of Lions, Zebras, Rhinos, Giraffes, Cheetah, and Elephants.

Cycle of Life....

When looking at these photos your first thought is to think...poor zebra, especially since it is a baby. However, you have to take a step back and remember the movie "THE LION KING" Mufasa talks with Simba and tells him about the cycle of life.
We did not get to see the chase between the lion and the zebra, but this is right after when the lion was taking it back for the others to feed on.
